I have been having my car regularly serviced at this facility for over two years. On October 31st, 2011 a belt in my car melted and the car was towed to Goodyear. They repaired the car to my satisfaction, and I had not had any concerns or problems with that particular issue again. Around April 20th, 2012, I noticed my car had been leaking antifreeze when it was parked for extended periods of time. Due to this condition, I monitored the problem by ensuring it never ran low on coolant. I also consulted with family members who are knowledgeable, and was advised that the car most likely had a cracked hose, and it was not a big deal. I brought the car in on 4/23/12 in the afternoon and let them know about the hose and also needed an oil change and overall tune-up. They were unable to finish the car that day, so I carpooled to work the next day. They contacted my husband on 4/24 to let him know the car was ready. When I arrived that evening to pick it up I payed $388.36 for the repairs. I started the car and immediately noticed the engine light was flashing. (This had not happened prior to drop-off.) They took it back in and allowed me to borrow a vehicle so they could look at it the next day. By 4/26 they contacted my husband and said that part of the belt that came off in October had wrapped around the timing belt (which is covered) and ruined the engine and the car will no longer run. They asked for the borrowed vehicle to be returned on 4/27 and offered no compensation for what had happened to the car in their care. My husband and I visited the manager on 4/28 to talk about what they planned to do. He was rude and told me that he had been ""holding my car together with gum."" After a while, he offered to refund the $388.36. We accepted. They claimed no accountability for the car that was brought to the shop with NO issues in the engine, that is now totaled and will never drive again. They did not apologize or seem empathetic at all. I took photos of what they are saying happened and it just isn't possible. So, I don't know what they did to the car to fry the engine, but it is not what they said. And, as far as I know, the car was completely out of my possesion from the time it was running to the time the engine light came on to the time it was totaled. The engine light does NOT turn on for the timing belt, so there was something else they had done to the car before that... I saw the engine bouncing up and down when I was there to pick it up. They did this and won't do ANYTHING to make it right. I will NEVER go back or recommend this place again. PERIOD.
