VERY BEST OF THE BEST 3/1/2012

My senior cat is a loving animal but saying he is terror at the vet is an major understatement. He turns into a feral animal that has never been touched by human hands.... Last year we had a crisis at 4:30 pm and the the vet I had been using for nearly two years told me to go to Anderson Emergency Hospital . I called Paw Prints Animal Hospital and they accepted this animal that they had never seen before within a half hour. This turn-about became a real blessing for me and my very large male cat. This staff surpasses excellent. They understood that it was to all our benefit that I 'handle' the cat and prepared him for a tranquilizing shot. Uh, yes we HAD to tranquilize him or risk severed fingers by needle like teeth. This last visit my cat had to have two molars removed. He did not experience any of the effects that are a plague after surgery, no nausea, no loss of appetite (did I say he is about 21 pounds? They DID ask me if we named him Texas because he is so big.) and within two days was back to normal. I credit this to a animal medicine staff that knows what they are doing both in proceedure and after care. My hats off to the entire office and the Texas raised his tail high to thank you. (Pretty good for a cat that doesn't bother speaking to anyone but us) more
