Their $65 fee has gone up to $85+ tax. I called them yesterday because one of the plastic lines going from my drainage pump to my sump pump was clogged. Guy came out today and I showed him the line. He cut off the end piece and confirmed what I already knew: It was clogged. He then said he had the line in his van and that he would have to look in his book for pricing. 5 Minutes later he came back and the total charge was going to be $297 including a "$85 "diagnositc fee" When I told him that that price was outrageous for a $15 plastic line on a job that took 10 seconds to "diagnose" and couldn't take longer than half an hour to install, he tried to upsell me to their maintenance package of $220 a year so that I could get a discount of 20% on their service today. Yeah right...So I told him thatI wasn't going to proceed but he still charged me the $85 "diagnositc fee" My wife and I have been using T&R for almost 15 years, but this was the last time we used them.
