Truck STARTER went out in large busy store parking lot on weekend, not safe to change starer . Called Central Georgia Towing and Recovery from home. Was told I did not have to be there, just in case I left spare key and made sure dispatch understood this. When truck arrived to my home right front tire was flat beat up beyond repair. Driver said ""thought that is why we was towing it"" Let see ... $75.00 to tow a truck 23 miles so I could change a tire? Does he think I keep the spare in my sock drawer? And oh by the way the store I was at sells tires and even puts them on for you. The truck had been pulled back on the flatbed truck was locked in park wheels turned hard right, I could see the skid marks on flatbed,This was the reason I left THE KEY to avoid just this sort of damage. Driver said he called me 3 time. I keep the phone on me at all times and not in the sock drawer next to my spare tire. I was going to let this go, until I checked my phone, ZERO calls. I understand stuff happens but do not lie to me. Oh and they only deal in cash and do not give receipts. Called dispatch and asked what they are going to do about this, said boss was going to call be back .... it has been 4 hours now. I am still waiting for a call back, guess my phone is broken just works one way. To many other towing options out there, avoid this one – I know I will.
