I purchased 30 cupcakes from Maureen's for my daughter's 5th birthday. No one would give me honest feedback on tha cakes at the party so I tasted one when I got home. I was thoroughly disappointed, b/c the marble and white cupcakes were extremely ""dry"" after I spent over $50 on them. I called and the employee who answered the phone was appropriate and listened to my concerns and told me that she would have the owner call me back. When Maureen called she was rude and unprofessional. I told her that I had recently bought 30 cupcakes from Sam's for $14 dollars that were moist and fresh and her pricey cupcakes were horrible. I asked her if they had been made days prior. She proceeded to tell me that she had baked 300 cupcakes for one event and 90 for another. She stated ""I know my cupcakes are not dry"" She stated that she had been in business for over 10 years and she has never had a complaint. I told her that I didn't care about anyone else, but that she had ruined my daughter's b-day and she said ""well don't use me anymore"". Piss poor cupcakes and piss poor customer service!!!
