I have been a customer of Mike's since moving here last year. I called to get a landscaping plan together and was informed right away that it would cost me 175 for someone to come to my home. No problem with that except once they got the money they quit listening, I had asked for tow plants that I wanted to see in the flower beds of which the plan had neither. I asked for areas in my yard to be landscaped that didn't appear on his plan. I asked that to see the plants that were going to be planted in my yard. I go to the nursery and the plants all looked lke they were dying and was told these were not the plants that would go in my yard. So I saw nothing out of the 4000.00 dollar plan at the Southlake location. I was reluctant to move forward so the experience cost me 175.00 and I moved on. I explained to Collin that I had read 4 out of 5 reviews online that were negitive. His response was yeah I wish I could get a compliment and I replied this is not the way to get one. You need to listen to your customer and the inflated price went up three times from the initial visit. I went to Calloway's and received a beautiful job and healthy plants. Jake assisted us and came to our home for no extra charge. He mapped out what I needed and the job cost us half as much. So all in all the 175.00 charge from Mike's combined with the horrible don't care customer service ended up saving us money in the end. more
