I live in Southern California and have been looking for a 2006 BMW 530XI wagon. After months of searching I found one across the country at Habberstad BMW. That's where it all went wrong, I was first lied to about the price. I then had the car shipped to California, within 60 days I spent $1300 on new rotors and pads because they were so badly worn. Also I had four tires that had clear succinct arrows as to which way to be mounted, all four were mounted backwards. I was told by Irvine, CA BMW that the tires were so cheap that they would literally disintegrate. I was given one ratty key, I asked for another to be sent. That arrived four months later, except it was neither cut or coded for my car. It could be a necklace I suppose. I have made repeated attempts for any kind of help and am met with nothing but silence. I am promised a response but get nothing unless I initiate contact, then still nothing. Lesson learned here, don't buy a car in New York if you live in California and don't assume that there is any integrity or customer service just because it is a BMW dealership.
I can assure you Habberstad has neither.
