After reeading all the reviews and having been quite disappointed in the overly sugary, dry cupcakes from several other "cupcakes stores in town we ordered a dozen from Shea's for my birthday. The cupcakes were better than the others, but still the frosting was overly sweet and the cake dry. Right now, the best cupcake (and best priced) in Delray come from Mario's Italian Market. It may be the best overall bakery in the area. I'm not saying Shea's were bad, they were pretty good...they just didn't live up to the praise we read here.\r
I also don't want to take anything away from this young woman who has built a very nice business. It's run very professionally and if she keeps at it I can see it becoming a very big success.
