I placed my mother in Spring Creek after she left St.Mark's Hospital, and have nothing but disappointment about the experience. There was no formal admission process, and the place is run by the CNA staff. In the two months my mother was in their care, I saw a nurse come into her room less than 5 times-I visited her daily because I was concerned about the lack of care, I had observed. By the time I realized my mistake, it was too late to move her into a more professional care center-because she had declined so badly. Like I said, I visited her daily to make sure she got fed, and was dressed etc. On several occasions I found my mother without clothes on, lying on her bed with the door to her room wide open. I complained on many occasions, and often got a call back a week or two after the fact from a manager. When my mother passed- I was harassed for a final payment, before my mom was even in the ground!!! The office manager is ruthless, and should be in the used car or payday loan dynamic. My mom died on the 21st of October 2011, and they forced me to pay for the full month -even though she was not receiving care for the last week plus. I refused to pay for the days she was not in attendance, but was threatened with a collection service, and I did not want my credit ruined over 200 dollars. I could go on and on about why not to select this place for your loved ones.
