I highly recommend you go elsewhere. I had nothing but an unpleasant experience with this clinic and Dr. Kass. I originally went in to get sclerotherapy, but Dr. Kass found a vein issue and mentioned the EVLT treatment. I was told I didn't really need it, but my insurance would cover and may not later, so why not just do it. I was told it was a simple, painless surgery and that I would be able to go right back to work. That was NOT the case. It was painful! The Dr kept mentioning that they got new catheters that didn't work as well. That evening I couldn't sleep what so ever. I had so much pain, and went back to the Dr. the next morning and he said it was nerve damage and gave me Vicodin. This was in Dec, and I still have pain and damage near my ankle. I was never told what the charges or costs were going to be. When I called to ask what I would owe (prior to surgery), the receptionist told me the rest of my deductible, which was $100+, the bill has now been over $700+ (out of pocket). I called to get discuss my pain and charges with the Dr. four different times, but he apparently didn't feel the need and told his receptionist to deal with the situation. After I was quite adamant with her, he finally called me back yesterday. Let's just say Dr. Kass was screaming at me in the first few minutes for questioning the bill and for all ""my accusations,"" after I thanked him for calling me and starting to explain my concerns. All I wanted was to understand what the charges were on my bill (very hard to understand) and about my constant ankle pain. He actually asked if I ever question my gynecologist about my bill and that he spent ""too much time with me"" and continued to berate me over the phone. I literally was in shock. I have never wrote a bad review, but I do not think Dr. Kass is professional or respectable and caution anyone considering going to this clinic. What doctor berates you for asking questions and trying to understand the situation?
