I have been a customer of Vancouver Bolt in Longview for several years, so I am accostomed to their sub par customer service, but they are the only ones in our area who have a decent selection of commercail grade hardware. I callled them looking for a specail order part that I have bought from them in the past. The counter person asked how many I needed, and I told him just one. He rudely told me that he wouldn't order just one, when I told him that they had done it in the past, he impatiently repeated himself. I was getting irritated by this time and told him if he would just open a catalog, we could get this dome. Instead of handeling a difficult situation that he created, he hung up on me. I have spent several thousand dollars at their Longview store over the years, but no more. Their ownership must be clueless to let someone like this work with customers. I will never be back! I then went to Applied Industrial Technologies. They gladly took my $150.
