I'M military, they canceled my service half way through my deployment to afghan. I logged in to pay my monthly bill and found they charged me well over $300.00 as a cancelation fee ON TOP of my normal bill! By the time I returned to the states I no longer had access to the AT&T website(no longer a customer) and the time period for appeal had passed? They wouldn't give me any of my contract info, or my previous number, much less my unlimited data plan back if I signed a NEW contract with them! I've called multiple times and talked to the main service dept. I was told they submitted a case to look into the issue but nothing was even started when I checked back 2 weeks later. I tell all my friends to switch if they have AT&T, especially those in the military. I also submit to each military command here in southern california that I am in contact with to ensure they don't use AT&T as a DUTY phone carrier.
