AS AN UPDATE TO THE 7/30/11 POST - I decided this was not worth fighting over and paid $127.80 by check # 1070 on 7/31/11, with ?Full and Final Settlement of all Sums Due? in the memo line. $127.80 is the monthly Wellness Plan amount for the months of May, June, July and August 2011. This amount cleared my account on September 12, 2011, with ?Banfield 8502 CA BFCALCTR? in the description on my on line bank account. The harassing letters & telephone calls stopped, so I considered the matter resolved. But today, 3/1/12, and 6 months after the settlement check cleared, I received a letter from the Brentwood Banfield ? signed by Dr. Coffeen and office manger Ashley Ring - stating the last payment I had made was on 4/5/11 and that I owed for 5 months. They offered to ?settle? by my paying $159.35 and FAILED to acknowledge the $127.80 I already paid.
