What a traumatic experience for me! I WILL NEVER go back there! I brought my dog in Friday 03/16/2012 around 10:00 or 10:30 PM. My dog was dying. We were taken back right away the Vet Tech (blonde lady) came in and took his temp, she stated that he was cold and wanted to take him in the back to warm him. I asked that I go to, she stated "no, there is too much going on back there". I told her that I know my dog is dying and I want to be with him, and I also told her that I wanted the Vet to put him down because he was suffering. She rolled her eyes at me and left the room, she came back with a blanket and said the Vet would be tight in. That is the last we ever saw her and never saw the Vet. My dog laid there for 40 minutes suffered and died. I had to go out to the reception desk and tell them my dog had died . She was shocked and asked if anyone had gone in the room? I told her no. She sent two techs in the room, (by the way I never saw the blonde tech again) the other 2 came in checked Elija's vitals and said they were sorry. They asked if I wanted CPR. They said that the blonde tech would come in and explain my options... well.... we sat there with a dead dog for another 20 minutes,,, NO TECH! It is traumatizing enough to watch your beloved companion die in front of you, and VERY unproffessional of your staff! I am so dissappointed in the reaction and lack of concern of your vet tech! Once I mentioned putting him down, I felt judged by her! She gave me the impression that I was a bad person for making the decision to put my dog down, he was suffering!! Completley paralized and could only breathe. He laid there and died.... I had to go out to the receptionist and tell her I already knew my options and just wanted to go home. What a horrible experience for anyone to go through! I understand that you are busy but MY GOSH!! Hire more staff so someone else does not go through what I did!!! I JUST READ THIS!!!!!!!! This statement comes from a person that worked there! HOW TRUE!!! MY DOG WAS IGNORED!! "The staff is varied from highly experienced to horrible. Unfortunately, the management just doesn't seem to care and turns a blind eye to it. I have seen pets completely ignored and die from lack of care or compassion."
