I arrived to my appointment at Dr. Narodovich's office in Citrus Heights to have minor cavities filled and was hurried to the back where a dental assistant placed numbing swabs in my mouth. Then the dentist, Michael Narodovich came in and said, "Open your mouth." I thought he was going to take a look at my teeth, because he still had not said a word to me about who he was or what he was doing. All I saw was the big syringe and needle going into my mouth. As soon as he removed the numbing needle, I said, "Hi, I usually like to introduce myself before people start jabbing needles into my mouth." He then said, "Hi, I'm Dr. Mike." Then walked away. I heard all of the packaging opening behind me for my procedure and realized, these people were performing dental work on a conveyor belt...like inoculating cattle, so I got up to leave. When I told this Dr. Mike how I felt, he only apologized that I didn't feel as though he was making my experience "unique" and that what was being done was "routine" and "simple" so he didn't feel the need to explain. I left with a numb mouth and jaw with no dental work done. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE HERDED THROUGH DENTAL WORK LIKE CATTLE. As for me, I want a dentist who has the decency to introduce him/herself and let me know what they are going to do BEFORE I get injected with a needle.
