I had worked with a mortgage broker who transferred to RP Funding and was pre-approved for a loan. It was a short sale so it took months, but once it came down to the wire and I had the approval letter from the Seller's bank, they backed out of the pre-approval stating the fact that I had a short sale of my own over 2 years ago. I waited the allotted amount of time in between my short sale to purchase according to Florida law. I easily went elsewhere and got approved and got my loan...just wish I wasn't strung along by these morons for months. Learn how to do your job.
