After trying every DIY trick I could find on Google to clear our clogged bathroom sink I finally gave up and call a plumber. The first one I called could not get to us until Friday (this was Tuesday) and seemed very pricey. I then called Roto-Rooter who was able to get to us that day and was much more reasonably priced. They came out and tried everything to get to the clog but because our house was old and the pluming made several twist and turns he could not get to it using an auger through the drain. He said we may need to go through the wall but he wanted to check the roof first to see if there was a vent he could try to go through. He was able to get to it that way and avoid cutting a hole in our wall! Who knew you could unclog a drain from the roof! I was very happy with the quick response time, the knowledge of the plumber and the cost was very reasonable. I will most definitely use them again if I am unlucky enough to need to call a plumber in the future!
