I'm new to the medical field and when I was interviewing, I was amazed at how unfriendly and cold staff & Management are in hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living setups. Well-star was one of the worst.. I am a woman but I think women, especially in management roles are the worst to deal with. They have mood swings, like to control everybody and play favorites..it's as if I'm back in grammar school...And where are all the men in healthcare? all of the human resources staff and managers I met with were female. It's a good old girl's club and these people don't need to be providing anyone with healthcare.
