Financial exploitation of the elderly 2/1/2012

This is a warning for all of you with elderly parents in Gaston, Lincoln, and Cleveland counties. Jesse Bradley, owner of Carolina Custom Cabinet took advantage of my aging family. He coerced them to write thousands of dollars of checks. Starting off first, the checks were made out to the business; then, checks made out to Jesse Bradley personally; and in the end checks made out to ""cash"". Mr. Bradley's motive for doing this, in addition to grossly overcharging for services, was to hide his income from the IRS. He receives Medicaid (free welfare health insurance) and there is an income ceiling. Cashing checks instead of keeping accurate business records for the IRS is a way of committing Medicaid fraud. Do you think it's reasonable to have someone write a check made out to ""cash"" for cleaning out a garage??? more
