The owner wants to make up for his stature with his mouth. I got a quote online for a package by ups for $51.00 dollars when i took it to that zaragoza location he quoted me $149.00 dollars for ground service for the same shipment he told me UPS online makes mistakes and that was the right amount. After I asked him if it was less expensive if took it to the main branch he went all out saying that it could not be done because he was UPS he went as far as telling me look this is why I have the logo on my shirt you cant ship from there unless you have a ups account. I said thank you I will try to see how else I could ship the item, he started telling so what you are just wasting my time? This is how unprofessional He is for an owner. Telling me that was the right amount and that there was no way any one else could ship it for less. I took my package to another ups store on george dieter just to see what their quote would be. It turned out to be the quoted online price of $51 dollars. I have shipped from the 700 n zaragoza many times and have always felt their prices seemed high . After talking to a ups driver he told me that was not the first complain he had heard from that store owner and what he does is give out 2nd day delivery eveb if you want groun service which is less expensive to try to boost his numbers. This store will quote you way more as you can see from my experiences to make a very hefty profit out of any package, franchise owners who run their stores in this manner give Ups a bad reputation making customes seek other delivery options fedex or usps. So if you want to save your money drive to another location were it will be100% less expensive I know I will.
