What a Shame 2/14/2012

We have been happy patrons of Don's Pomeroy House for 20yrs, have gotten to know everyone, and have enjoyed the special service and familiarity that comes with that. We have enjoyed the food, wines, camaraderie with staff, and ambiance of the historic house. Until now. After a fine happy uneventful dinner evening, for reasons unknown an asst. mgr. chose to accuse us of causing an incident which NEVER OCCURRED. My wife & I were astounded, and informed him nothing occurred. HE INSISTED. We left the restaurant distressed and confused. During the drive home I called to attempt to get an explanation. Instead of resolving the matter, HE PERSISTED in his false accusation and threatened that I should not speak to the manager, quote ""you won't like it"". The following week I spoke to the manager, who apologized for whatever occurred. We returned with expectation of an apology from the asst.mgr. and thought the issue was resolved. However, as of today the false accusation has been resurrected by the manager to whom I spoke. We have spent every Friday evening for the last many years at Don's. Monthly we have spent thousands, and have been to our knowledge Don's best individual regular customer. Due to this entirely UNPROFESSIONAL and IMMATURE behavior by the senior management of the restaurant, WE SHALL NO LONGER PATRONIZE Don's Pomeroy House. Peter Strang of the STRANG CORPORATION, owner of Don's Pomeroy House, has been informed of this matter, and has failed to respond. It is with sincere regret we find we must inform others of this matter, and strongly suggest Don's Pomeroy House be avoided by all. Bruce A. Jackim, President GeoData Systems Management Inc.
