I am the customer WatchfulEye saw the manager arguing with. Before I reserved the party I looked online at party prices and their was a party for 6 kids for $95 and one for UP TO 10 kids. I looked all over the site and no where did it say that if you reserve the party for UP TO 10 kids you have to pay for 10 kids if you only have 6 kids show up. Just to be safe I told my husband to reserve for UP to 10 kids 2 weeks ago. The woman that he talked to never told him either that if you reserve the party for the 10 kids and only had 6 you couldn't pay for the 6 kid party. I was also supposed to get a phone call a couple days before Saturday confirming our party and the amount of people ,but NO ONE called me!
They showed us the area that they had reserved for us which was 2 picnic tables with CHEAP PLASTIC tablecloths and some balloons. I orderd a pizza that I had a coupon for to get it for free(which she wouldn't take) and the pizza showed up way early and was cold and greasy. A RIP OFF for $14!It says on their website that they have 10 inflatables set up in the arena. Well they only had 9 set up ;three of which were games that the kids couldn't play on. Three of the others were age restricted . So there were only 3 inflatables that everyone could play on and they were crowded. One was a huge slide which everyone was on and there was not an attendant limiting the number of people climbing up the slide. At one time I thought that the slide inflatable was going to tip or collapse over because there were so many kids and adults on it. Where were the attendants that were supposed to watching the inflatables? They were doing nothing! They should have been limting the number of people in the bouncers. The place was too crowded because they let too many people in for the space and amount of inflatables they had; all they see is $$$. This place is an accident waiting to happen. And who puts picnic tables in the middle of the play area where kids are running? Apparently Bounce USA thinks it was a good idea.
I asked where the spoons were for icecream cups because they were supposed to provide plasticwear and all they had were forks at the table. One of the hostesses looked at me and said ""You didn't bring spoons?"" Of course I didn't because Bounce USA stated in their party description they provided plasticwear and plates. I didn't know I had to bring spoons because they only provide forks and not spoons too.
When I was ready to pay I told the woman who I believe to be the owner /manager that I only had 6 kids so I needed the $95 to pay plus the pizza. She told me it didn't matter I had to pay for 10 kids no matter what. I explained that she never told me this and never was that on the website ;she said I had to pay for 10 because she reserved me a place for 10. She would have reserved me 2 tables even if I reserved for only 6 kids because I had adults too. It didn't cost her anything else because I provided everything else. The balloons and plasticewear and plates were the same with the party for 6 kids.The woman also told me that if she didn't charge for me for 10 kids that she would go out of business. Well treating customers badly and not accommoodating them AT ALL makes a business go out. After I told the woman that this was my first time at Bounce USA and that I wouldn't be coming back and I would let others know about how I was treated she told me, "" Good, I hope you don't. She said, I am not going to argue with you, your bill is $$$, now give me your card!.. She also made the comment to one of her employees while I was standing there ,""Man, they are really coming out of the woodwork, tonight."" All they want is your money . I don't want anyone to have to experience what I went through. Look for a more CUSTOMER friendly business that actually cares about the CUSTOMER . If you don't you could find your self being SLANDERED in front of other people like me.
