Before placing our mother in an assisted living facility we did extensive research of most of the facilities in the general area. We chose Franciscan Court because it gave us everything we were looking for (large rooms, attached bathrooms, smaller population (she is 98 and did not want to be confronted with large numbers of people) It is a new building with pleasant decor and a very friendly staff as well as healthy, nutritious meals. The cost also was a factor and Franciscan Court can easily compete with other facilities in the area. She came to Franciscan Court in October of 2011. After a period of adjustment she is now settled and very pleased with her surroundings. We visit her everyday and have the opportunity to meet the staff and make note of how the facility works. We are very happy to see the dedication the staff shows. They are always friendly and eager to help. The owners as well, show a personal interest in the treatment of our mother. The decision to place an aging parent in assisted living is always difficult but it is very reassuring to know that we made the right decision.\r
