I had my mother in Arbor Hills. I was told it was one of the best ones. I was not happy with the care at all. She would ring for a nurse because she had to go to the bathroom. Nurse's aide would come in and turn off her light and say she would be right back. She wasn't right back. My mother would often have to wait 15 to 20 minutes for a bedpan. The place is understaffed and the aides aren't that good. I removed my mother from there and took much better care of her myself. I would not recommend it, but maybe all of them are just as bad. It is a national disgrace the way we treat our old people. Keep them out of a nursing home if at all possible.
