I can not honestly ascertain her abilities as a dentist. I only had a cleaning. My problem is with her less than honest billing policies.
On my initial visit I informed her staff of what I wanted and expected (a simple exam and a cleaning). Even after a pre-approval they chose to bill me for something different which resulted in my insurance not covering the visit. This was not expressed to me nor, was it clear on my bill. My bill from them stated only ""Exam and cleaning"" while they submitted a different claim to my insurance.
When given the option to, 1. forgive this nominal difference and keep me as a patient or 2. I will pay this difference and not longer continue with them. They chose payment rather than a happy and returning patient.
The office personnel did not even attempt to discuss this matter with Dr. Corbett. I felt their apology was extremely disingenuous. Their inability to accept responsibility for their billing mistake and lack of concern for loosing a patient makes it difficult to recommend this practice to anyone and I will happily take my business elsewhere.
