Premier (with Mayflower) moved our furnishings from Los Angeles to Roanoke, VA. While the actual moving went OK, the bill came back with an increase over the estimate of 23%. We had picked Premier based on having the lowest estimate, however, the contract turned out to be non-binding with regard to the estimate. Premier and Mayflower were intractable around the increase in the charges. After going round with them for a while we learned there were other assumptions in the contract that weren't even published. We were taken advantage of in a way that appears to have been, in legal terms, ""unconscionable"". We are considering suing them in small claims court.
