We wanted to try a new rib place. The location is interesting, but the Mesquite bbq smell from the parking lot makes up for it. The place is rustic--just what I expect from a good rib/steak house. It's casual but the wait staff was friendly and efficient. The open pit grill was a wonderful touch. The salad bar is well worth it--cold plates, fresh, crispy lettuce, with a wide variety of items, including potato salad, slaw, carrot salad, and crab salad, with all the dressing and toppings. The touch I loved was not only a wetnap, but a finger bowl and towels to clean off the delicious bbq sauce. And don't forget the Mud Pie! Big enough for 2, maybe even 4, but delicious and well served. Since we had a bit of a celebration, the staff put a candle in it for a nice effect. We definitely will be returning.
