I had not been to a dentist in 12 yrs until some excruciating pain hit me in the jaw in December. I saw a dentist from the phone book and I was told I needed 2 root canals and a couple minor things. He referred me to a specialist, but I procrastinated b/c the pain went away until now, in February. I made an appointment with the specialist but they could not see me for a whole week. The pain was getting so bad that it put me in tears at least twice a day. After 2 more days of the pain I could not take it anymore.
