Very poor leadership, and an ever rotating door of teachers. My child bounced between three classrooms depending on how crowded her registered class was. There was a recent lice episode but we didn't receive any communication because my daughter was constantly shifting rooms. When I came to pick her up, I found kids blankets and jackets left piled on the floor for lack of space; of course making the episode that much worse. The teacher shrugged and said there aren't any other options because of space, and that the teacher can't continually go between classrooms for things like coats and blankets. Being new to the community, I didn't know what other options there were, or just how poorly the community views this particular school and it's leadership. I have now found a private school for the same money that is a five star program with HALF the teacher;student ratio and a teacher that my child adores. After 9 months of patiently waiting with Sunshine House through ""growing pains"" for their staff I finally had to put my child in a better environment. Please research surrounding schools... there are better options for the same money.
