I recently visited Hyeholde for Valentine's Day dinner. The menu was limited to select few, very pricey, five course meals. My girlfriend and I both ordered the filet and agreed that it was nothing special. Comparing it to something you could order from Outback would be about right. The other courses, included in the price, were small and mediocre at best. The price certainly did not reflect the quality of the food. The service left us nothing to complain about, but certainly did not deserve any awards. Our waiter was quiet and uncaring, although a friendly woman did check in on us from time to time. The facility itself was very unique and warm, but reminded me of an old barn rather than a castle as some have said.
