This was a really fun place -- ** in concept.** I had frequented this business a few time because I have two young children, lots of mommy friends, and a need to have a good, local place for a play date that doesn't include ball pits and food (LOL).
Unfortunately, each time reinforced my last bad experience. The prices are very, very high -- even for pottery. Whereas I could justify that if we had a fantastic time, the management there always left a bad taste in our mouth.
When we had Groupons to use, it was a hassle. When we had challenges (broken pottery upon pickup), there was no hint of customer service to make it right. It's as if the person in charge here doesn't realize that moms make a village and their voices can be quite loud.
I'm not the type to shout from my Facebook about a business, however, I've seen many of my friends do so about this place, which is very disappointing.
The bad thing is that there aren't any other pottery places on this side of Staten Island, which is why I think this type of poor customer service just continues. It's too bad.... :(
