I took my watch in for a repair and was given what I thought was a high quote. But, I decided that?s OK. It might be worth a little more for a local, certified, reputable dealer. I wouldn?t have to worry about shipping costs, long turn around time, etc. I was told it might take up to two weeks and that someone would call me when it was ready for pickup. Here?s where the problem starts. After two weeks I called and was told it wasn't ready. OK, I?m thinking it?s just taking a couple of extra days. No problem. Well, after four weeks I hadn?t heard anything so I called again. I was told that it would be ready by the end of the week (this was on a Monday) and someone would call me. So it's now been six weeks and I'm still waiting. This is completely unacceptable in my opinion and provided there are no problems with the repair when I do get it back, I?ll be going somewhere else, if needed, in the future.
I feel I should follow up my earlier review. I received a call from Jason at Bailey's and could tell that he had a genuine concern, not just a cursory interest, in this situation. He assured me that this was atypical of their customer service and he would address whatever caused this. I met Jason when I picked up my watch and found him to be as genuine in person as he was on the phone. He admitted this should not have occurred and went above and beyond what I expected to reestablish my confidence in Bailey's.
