I called after getting an astronomical quote for a transmission repair from another mechanic. Bob told me the price actually seemed in line with the work that needed to be done. However, he pointed out that our Van was probably still under the factory warranty (it's a 2010) and then took 10 or 15 minutes to find numbers for Ford Service, Local Dealerships, etc... and instructed me on the best thing to do to get it fixed on Ford's dime. He even went so far as to give me advice about how to try to get Ford to fix it even if it wasn't still under warranty.
