We arrived just as the restaurant was preparing to close early on the evening of the Super Bowl. A quick discussion with the young manager on duty was sufficient, as we explained that we were from out of town and had planned our evening around dining there. My wife had the fillet mignon and I had the pepper steak, one of their signature dishes. We had a wonderful meal, the high point of our trip to the area. The steaks are prepared perfectly, and the service is great. Try some of the specialty drinks on their menu. I had the South Texas Tea, which was great. This is the best place to have dinner in the entire surrounding area. If you have the opportunity, give this place try. You won't be disappointed.
