Stephen Burns is one of my go-to's in Burlington. The last cut I got was fine. Just a trim, only had to take 1/4" off because my hair is fairly healthy. That is, until my girl blow dried my hair on high for over an hour. I could see smoke and steam rising from my head in the mirror. I finally asked her to turn the heat down, which she was happy to oblige. However, at a salon such as S&B I would expect this not to be an issue. I would like to keep my hair healthy enough to only take 1/4" off, thanks, not reverse the benefit within an hour of the cut. Also, while I was having my hair dried, a (large) group of people came in to say hello to another customer. They were there for about 3 minutes, kind of noisy, no big deal. After they left, about four employees came over to the apparent "mess" that was left by wintery shoes on the floor, gawking and snubbing their noses at such behavior. I understand that it is unfortunate for an establishment to have to deal with an unexpected group of people making a "scene," but honestly, the condescension by the employees was palpable, and much worse than the initial "offense."
