This is a lovely little park way out in the country. The closest gas station is at least 5 minutes away, the closest resturant is probably in Lebanon, about 10 minutes away. I saw this entry and couldn't help but laugh at the section that states ""Argosy Casino and Resort is just down the road in Indiana."" If by just down the road you mean at least an hour drive, then sure. If you were planning to include both the Mounds and the Casino in the same trip, make sure you plan accordingly.
