After waiting 20 minutes to speak to someone, I got a 5 minute lecture from customer service on how if they do not say things right, they will lose their job. I was trying to reduce my bill since I have been unemployed for 2 years, only to find out that my contract was extended and it is going to cost $80 to quit TMC. I was suppose to notify them I did not want an extension. I did not sign anything. I am going to get rid of them. They seem to think they have no competition. I am having to make choices in my life because of no job and cable TV is one of them that is not necessary.
