I have never encountered a ruder receptionist in my life. My insurance denied a claim (3 days ago) that I had been specifically told by the dental assistant would be covered and I called to make arrangements and she told me I had to give her my credit card number and the get the balance paid off today or she would send me to collections. I told her to send me a bill and I would pay it promptly (it’s not for a lot of money), but that I wasn’t giving her my credit card over the phone. I had already paid for the other half of the procedure before it was even done because of their weird policy. She told me she would be sending me to collections immediately and proceeded to hang up on me.\r

I called back and the phone rang several times until someone else answered who was actually polite and said it was not a problem to mail a bill to me. \r

It’s a shame she was so awful to me, because I didn’t have any problems with Dr. Cooney.
