This was the worst shuttle service I've ever experienced, EVER! I called for service 4 hours in advance of my flight around 2:30 for a 7:00 pm international flight. They sent the shuttle 1 ½ later which was okay, it should get me to the airport by 5:00 pm. But on my way to the airport, the driver received a call from the dispatcher to pick up another fare. The fare was in the opposite direction of the airport and further than my hotel. By the time we picked them up, and headed back to the airport it was 5:30. At 5:40, we PASSED MY HOTEL AGAIN on the way to the airport! And because it was rush hour, what should have been a 40 minute ride took over 2 ½ hours. I got to the airport at 6:55! Needless to say, I missed my flight and there were no more flights for the night. I had to hustle to get a hotel and call international on my cell phone incurring roaming and long distance charges calling my travel agent at home after hours to book another flight the following day. I had to pay my sitter to stay with my kids overnight. \r \r But that wasn’t the worst part. The worst part was that I called Tropiano to get an explanation and I was told by a gentleman named Ray, “well, that’s the chance you take when you hire a shuttle. We can’t guarantee that you will get to your destination at a particular time, if you wanted guaranteed service, you should have hired a private ride”. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! The next day I called to speak to the owner, Nick Tropiano, but got his voicemail. I left a message. In fact it’s been almost a week and I have left several messages for Mr. Tropiano and I have yet to receive one single call. \r \r This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I just want to caution others before spending $40 US on this company that obviously does not care about people and does not want to take responsibility for the actions of their employees. Their lack of compassion and poor judgement has cost me close to $3000 (so far). If you value your hard earned money, PLEASE DO NOT USE TROPIANO. They do not stand by their service and they don’t care about you.\r more
