My 6 year old LG Plasma suddenly went blank. I had a TV repair place come out, I think it was Wolf's? That cost me $85 for them to tell me it was a y-sus board and it would run me close to $500 to repair it. You can buy a new TV for $500 these days. I put the TV on Craigslist for $100, Abelman said they would give me $50. so I hauled the TV over to them and when I got there they said I might as well have them look at the board and see if they could repair it, not replace it. Long story short, they actually repaired the board for $250 and now I have a new TV again. If you have a problem with your TV see if they can fix it before you spend the money on a new one.
