Sorry, today was the first day I tried this taxi service and it was not a good experience. I got off at the train station and was on my way to my apartment. I take the taxi quite often from my place to the train station and back again, and the fare is ALWAYS $5 flat, occasionally $6 if it's late at night. Today it was just before 8pm, and the first thing the driver did was complain about how I didn't live far away and that his job sucked. After that he told me it would be ""ocho dollars"". First of all, I don't speak Spanish. He wasn't Hispanic, by the way--he was just trying to overcharge me. I told him it's usually $5 and he settled on $6. When we get to my apartment complex, he refused to drive inside! What kind of driver does that??
