My 12 year old autistic daughter recently had a dental visit at Horisons. As new patients and a parent of a special needs child who, by the way, had never before been awake for shots, I was concerned about the experience, to say the least. Well, the Dentist and her Assistant at the Livingston clinic are magnificent in what they do! Their bedside manner, compassion, wisdom, and the patience they possess are Godly. I am thrilled to report that my daughter had three shots in the mouth …. TOTALLY AWAKE! They talked her through the whole experience, and more important, they established TRUST. Those with special needs children know how great of a factor this is. This health care provider is amazing, and I recommend them to everyone!
