I had my ring for sale for six months dealing with flakes on craigslist and ebay classifieds, scam artists, and pawn shop brokers, my jeweler wouldn't trade in my ring and I was left on my own to sell it. Trying to even get half the money for it proved completely impossible. I loved my ring I just hated who gave it to me, I didn't want the reminder around. I posted an ad on craigslist for a straight up trade ring for ring. I got an email from The Golden Coin & Jewelry. All he said was he had rings and we could come by and take a look. Honest enough, so we went by planning to spend a few minutes maybe, When he pulled out the first tray I was instantly torn between 4 rings, then the second and third tray and torn again between six rings. He spent 3 hours with me going through all the information with each and the quality of the diamonds. I have an extensive gem education myself and was impressed by his knowledge and no BS it is what it is approach. It was refreshing to do business with an honest person! I had brought a few other rings just in case I found something spectacular, and I did! I found the perfect antique ring I've always wanted, but the selection was anything but limited and it was a hard decision. He gave me a hell of a deal and I feel I got my money's worth out of it. While I was there I witnessed other customers he interacted with, some for the first time and some he's been dealing with for a long time. He was just as courteous to everyone he dealt with, completely up front and honest with everyone, and very fair. I wont be going anywhere else for my jewelry, especially this day in age when everyone is looking to profit from someone else's loss. Not this guy, it's just good business. Thank you so much Golden Coin & Jewelry, you are appreciated! more
