I checked out 5 other orthodontists before I came across Stone Oak Orthodontics. Was originally looking for someone close to my house so I wouldn't have to deal with traffic. I was also coming from another State where my two daughters had their braces put in so I didn't know if the brackets they had would be supported by Dr. Norris. The first thing that hit me was the friendliness (and cheerful atmosphere) of the entire (I mean entire) staff--something I really didn't see from the previous ones I visited. Other places just seemed like they were just going through the motions--very little interaction from the receptionist to the tech. The initial consultation was efficient and informative. They offered me several options for continued treatment (no bracket replacement required--great). They also had a very good payment plan which worked out great because it wasn't through a third party like many others tend to do. We've been with them since Jul 2011 and every appointment has been a positive experience. My kids enjoy the constant interaction with the entire staff. I've never had a problem getting appointments for emergency work. Their customers don't wait long during appointments--which is a plus. They have video games to keep kids busy while they wait to be seen, free Wi-fi, regularly schedule fun activities during holidays for kids/family, coffee/water machine. Every time I called them--they were very receptive to my scheduling needs. Overall great organization. Kids smiles look fantastic. Some people might say that they are too expensive--and I don't know why they say that. The five other places I visited/contacted quoted me between $800-$1500 more than these people did--and my kids already had braces in their mouth! Some had also gave me quotes over the phone (and cost of consultation) without seeing my kids--what kind of operations is that? One side note: The great service makes it worth the 17 miles I have to drive to get there. Don't be snowed by the previous reviews. At least check them out and if you're not impressed with the consultation--you won't lose anything.
