BEWARE!!!! 1/4/2012

I purchased a vehicle from auto masters mid 2011 and although the people were nice to begin with they lacked some profesionalism. They ran the deal and told me my payment would be around 520 a month I told them i simply couldnt do that I was looking for something around the 350 range the salesman talked to the mananger briefly and returned saying he got it dropped to 360. I thought that was amazing so we agreed. My wife and I had to leave and when we returned we were informed that a mistake had been made that they had FORGOT to figure in the interest on the loan! How do you forget to figure in interest thats kind of important dont you think. They said the payment would now be 420 and after me and my wife discussed it for a minute we decided not to get the vehicle. Of course they kept trying to earn my business and finally agreed to 400 a month. Now I got just a little behind (not even 3 weeks) due to me losing my job and I explained to the GM that I had gotten laid off and was starting a new job the following week and asked if I could have until then to get a payment in or if i couldnt I would personally bring the vehicle back. He told me would call his finance company and see what they said and he would call me back. Well here I am not even a week later and they came and reposesed my vehicle. i have no problem whatsoever with them regaining possesion of the vehicle but I was told that i would be called back. This was not handled in the right way at all, they didnt even have the audacity to come knock on my door and give us a chance to get our personal belongings out of the vehicle which consists of my 6 month old daughters car seat. Again i have no problem with them repoing the vehicle I just think they could done what they said they were going to do and call me or at the very least let us get our belongings out DO NOT BUY HERE11 more
