Almar's has been THE only place my parents have gone to in Charlotte for the past decade! My mom has known Andy and his son Leah for longer. Everyone at Almar's treats customers with respect and almost like their own family. But the most important aspect of this great auto shop is that their work is HONEST and affordable. I just graduated from college without knowing hardly anything about cars and have been learning about how to take care of my car and Andy and his crew have been there to aid in the process, more than they probably ever had before with anyone else! They are all nice and explain everything and anything you need them to. Almar's is also located conveniently by the Lightrail so while my car is in the shop, I can ride the lightrail uptown to work while its getting worked on. It may not be the newest building with the flashiest furniture but I rather be inside with mechanics who make me feel at home than at a dealership getting bamboozled! They also have a really cool old dentist chair. I recommend ANY and EVERYONE to take their vehicle to Almar's because they are the best!
