Tenants Default on Lease 1/7/2012

Natural 77 has set out to slander Dancing Star Realty. They had a lease that wasn't due to expire until April 30, 2012 however they walked away from the property early in Decemeber, abandoning it. They thought that all they had to do was give a 45 day notice and they'd be released from their lease so that they could buy a home. Natural 77 made their own rules and refused to abide by this legal and binding lease agreement. This was a very prestine home situated in an elite country setting in Monument. The past 2 tenants before them loved the home and had absolutely no issues at all. Natural 77 complained about every little thing however at no time did we delay any repairs and responded promptly to all their issues despite how minor they were. When contacted for an appointment for having the work done, they'd delay the contractor from coming out. They complained about everything which most turned out to be problems they had created! We've been more than fair with them but when they walked away from a legal and binding lease leaving the Landlord high and dry with us trying to find a tenant in the winter, then no, they're not getting their deposits back. They also left the house dirty, didn't clean the carpets nor do anything that their lease required of them. Dancing Star Realty goes out of their way to insure their tenants a comfortable and pleasant experience. When tenants decide to make their own rules that violate their lease, then we have to act accordingly. Yes, I'm working for the landlord as the landlord is the one who I have an legal and written agreement with and who pays me for my work. I also strongly suggest to all my tenants to have their lease agreement reviewed by an attorney before they sign. Unfortunately, Natural 77 applied their own twisted interpretation to a very well drafted (by an attorney) lease agreement. No - they are not getting their deposits back. Actions have consequences. They breached their lease. Because they're angry that they're not getting their deposits back, they have chosen to slander Dancing Star Realty. more
