We adopted 2 cats from Molly's. 1 adult and a kitten. The adult cat was perfectly healthy but the kitten has problems. They would not let us take the cat right away because she had not been spayed yet. We had to wait a month to pick her up because she ""had a cold"". We later found out the kitten has respiratory problems and worse yet she has ringworm. We now have a house infested with ringworm and a sick kitten that is costing a bundle in vet bills.
While I believe they are doing the best they can with the animals, the potential adopter has to be aware that you may be adopting an animal that could possibly be ill. Unless you are aware of the potential health risks involved, be very careful when considering an adoption from Molly's. I don't believe they isolate the sick animals from the healthy ones the way they should.
