Me and my wife attended a Jockey Club Timeshare presentation in Las Vegas and they gave us 2 tickets to fly to Fl for our vacation. Holiday Travel requested $297 in August 2011 to guarantee a nice trip to Fl in February 2012. We paid right away and started making plans for our trip. Then 30 days prior to our trip Holiday Travel of America Carlsbad, CA called and a young girl by the name of Monica (a little rude) told us sorry but all her trips were booked and she offered us instead a 2 day overnight stay in San Diego instead of 2 plane tickets to Fl. We said we planned on a trip to Fl and she informed us that there may be travel in April available and she would call us in March to let us know if there was any room available to take our trip. We were ""SHOCKED"" and knew right then and there we were scammed! She graciously offered our $297 back as some type of reward for us to ""Go Away"" I would NOT recommend anyone use this company for regular travel, and I would hope the next time they need a Firfighter to rescue anyone of them, or their family in an emergency they would think twice about how they treated a Firefighter trying to go on vacation with his family. I wont forget!!
