Im 35 years old and I spent the better part of my life working with Dr's and therapists. Most Drs move patients through like cattle...get them in and out. Dr Birkmire took me by surprise! He's on the up and up when it comes to his specialty. I left his office with knowledge about my bi-polar-ism that I never knew before. No other Dr either took the time to tell me or knew the information he gave me.
After reading the other reviews I have come to the conclusion that someone has a massive chip on their shoulder and instead of moving on and finding another Dr they are attempting to tarnish Dr Birkmires good name and practice. I am so impressed with not only his office staff and counselors that I moved my son to his practice and am going to start taking my daughter to see a therapist as well!
I have recommended his practice to many! His office is about 40 miles from my home so its a long drive but well worth it!
The wait time has been up to 20 mins a few times but for me its still worth it. They are taking their time with their patients and I expect the same courtesy for me as well.
Dr Birkmire is extremely professional and personable. I felt very comfortable talking to him and my visits with him and his staff have been nothing less than excellent.
I recommend that people pay no attention to the negative reviews as they seem to be posted by the same angry and bitter person who is adjusting their posts. If you go to other places to review you will find they have cut and pasted the same things. I too will be reviewing him at other sites and you will find there will be no cut and paste from me!
